Visitor Information

Visiting Hours

ICU

Wadley has open visitation in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU), so you may visit at any time.  Because of the critical nature of ICU patients, we request 2 visitors at a time and visitors should be over 12 years old, unless there are special circumstances approved by the Care Team.

Please be aware that between 6:30 and 7:30 AM and 6:30 and 7:30 PM, nurses have shift change where they will be sharing critical information with the nurse coming on duty to care for your loved one.  This may mean the nurse may not be readily available to speak with family/visitors.  This is a very important time to share critical information regarding your loved one.

Maternal Child Visiting

Babies in our Neonatal ICU are allowed visitors at any time.  Visitor must be 18 or older, unless it is the parent.

Laboring mom’s are able to direct visitation.  Visitors should be over the age of 12.

Pastoral Care and Chapel

Hospitalization is often a time of stress for patients and their loved ones. Members of our pastoral team represent all religious denominations and are on call 24-hours a day to provide comfort and counseling. Arrangements can also be made for patients who wish to contact their own minister, rabbi or priest.

The Chapel at Wadley Regional Medical Center is located on the main floor between the main lobby and the emergency department.

The Chapel offers a quiet and peaceful place for solitude, meditation and prayer. Prayer request forms are available on the chapel altar and Wadley’s pastoral care members attend to these requests daily. One of the most beautiful works of stained glass can be seen in Wadley’s Chapel, handcrafted by a local artist especially for this area. The Wadley Chapel is dedicated to the loving memory of Mrs. Carroll (Nancy) Wheeler, who departed this life and years of service to Wadley Regional Medical Center as a member of our volunteer pastoral care team.

The Chapel is open to visitors 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
