Wadley Regional Medical Center offers flexible visiting hours. Visitors may be asked to leave a patient’s room during tests and treatments.

Intensive Care Unit Visiting Hours

Our visitation guidelines are designed to promote the recovery process by allowing family members ample opportunity to visit while ensuring that our critically ill patients receive the care needed. Visitation guidelines follow:

ICU visiting hours are Monday through Sunday from: 6-6:30 a.m.; 10-0:30 a.m.; 2-2:30 p.m.; 6-6:30 p.m.; and 10-10:30 p.m.

  • Visitors may be asked to wait before entering the unit on occasions, such as during a nursing shift change, an emergency in the unit, a new patient admission, or at the nurse’s discretion, based on the patient’s condition. Please be aware that during an emergency, visitors will be asked to leave the unit temporarily.
  • All visitors are asked to wash their hands upon entering the unit, as well as leaving the unit. Sinks are located just inside the unit entrance.

Pastoral Care and Chapel

Hospitalization is often a time of stress for patients and their loved ones. Members of our pastoral team represent all religious denominations and are on call 24-hours a day to provide comfort and counseling. Arrangements can also be made for patients who wish to contact their own minister, rabbi or priest.

The Chapel at Wadley Regional Medical Center is located on the main floor between the main lobby and the emergency department.

The Chapel offers a quiet and peaceful place for solitude, meditation and prayer. Prayer request forms are available on the chapel altar and Wadley’s pastoral care members attend to these requests daily. One of the most beautiful works of stained glass can be seen in Wadley’s Chapel, handcrafted by a local artist especially for this area. The Wadley Chapel is dedicated to the loving memory of Mrs. Carroll (Nancy) Wheeler, who departed this life and years of service to Wadley Regional Medical Center as a member of our volunteer pastoral care team.

The Chapel is open to visitors 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
