The Wadley Auxiliary
The Wadley Auxiliary boasts nearly 100 active senior volunteers who donate thousands of hours of time and service to the Wadley Regional Medical Center each year. The Auxiliary also supports a Junior Volunteer Program, offering teenagers an avenue to learn and serve in the hospital setting.
Volunteers staff such hospital service areas as the Information Desk, Surgery Waiting, and the Emergency Department. The Auxiliary also maintains a spacious, full-service and customer-friendly Gift Shop, located on the main floor of the medical center, near the lobby.
Our volunteers provide additional services to include:
- Answer telephone calls
- Assist visitors to different locations within the Medical Center
- Help with the discharge of patients
- Deliver flowers and mail
- Distribute juice, coffee and newspapers to the Intensive Care Unit Waiting Areas.
